A lot of progressive issues that Manchin blocked were very popular in WV and hence why he got heckled relentlessly.
If they run an establishment dem, GOP will easily get it. If they can get a pro-worker dem who focuses on those issues (higher wages, paid family and sick leave, etc.) and doesn’t lean on woke issues to avoid that, then it’s closer than it seems imo.
