The Supreme Court on Tuesday signaled it will likely uphold a law banning domestic abusers from owning guns, even as the justices wrestled with how such a decision might affect other challenges of gun laws under the Second Amendment.
In one of the most closely watched Supreme Court cases of the year, a Texas man named Zackey Rahimi is asking the justices to throw out his conviction under a federal law that bars people from possessing guns if they are the subject of a domestic violence restraining order. The court’s decision, expected next year, could have sweeping implications for other gun laws if it clarifies the standard by which those prohibitions are judged.

All domestic incidents doesn't involve a firearm, yet, the courts quickly take the rights of those who are guilty of any kind of family assaults. However, felons, can have their rights reinstated. Domestic volience and mass shootings are two separate entities, yet these people who are anti- gun likes to compile all incidents that involve a weapon because they want to remove guns from the public. I hope these people never need anyone to help them in an type of altercation.
There are 330,000,000 Americans(+/-) and at least 400,000,000 guns sloshing around in America. What the Supreme Court says or does on the subject of guns and domestic violence is meaningless when access to a gun is so remarkably easy in America.
I see motor vehicle crashes every day, because of texting and driving. Stupid people can't put their phones down and cause more injuries and death than guns. Where is the protesting over it? Why aren't these people outraged over texting and driving?

If the Supreme Court bans for domestic violence, you will se the courts packs with claims to ban anyone for the same reason, and since the system is not working, they will take down our rights without a fight and without touching the 2nd Amd. This will be a violation of our Constitution from the top.
