It is mighty convenient when someone ascends to a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land that they no longer feel bound by codes of conduct, ethical constraints or conflicts of interest.
The last group that put themselves in that sort of unassailable position were known as kings and emperors who believed that they were second only to God and it was their divine right to rule.
We had a revolution to free ourselves of that sort of tyranny under king George
A new code..? Seriously? Because they didn’t understand the old one? Or perhaps these people thrive on looking for the loophole. Like how the pelosi bill was needed also?
How about y’all take greed back out of your pockets and give all that you’ve back? Oh! And remember who you work for and the position you have is supposed to be one of honor. There’s no honor in greed that leads to corruption and it be necessary to redefine the code of ethics. It only needs redefined if it’s being deliberately taken advantage of. Loopholes means y’all are allowing the meaning to change from what it was supposed to be.

So now that these Republican Judges have been busted being corrupt by not reporting these what should be called bribes by there rich wealthy friends who they obviously have been paid in favor of what ever cases that may have in a hearing wether they are being sued or suing. Which doesn’t really matter because paying off these judges with gifts guarantees they will judge in these billionaires who paid these judges off with gifts that neither of them ever reported like they know they should have . But clearly didn’t because they were bribes.
So now that they have been called out they still denied wrong doing but when the people kept complain g and the supremes courts trust went even lower with then being trust by the American people which it was almost as low as it could possibly even get. They decided to make a code of ethics that is about as helpful as these Corrupt Republican judges ever gaining the trust of the American people. Like this code of ethics it is not worthy of anyone ever trusting these corrupt Judges. They are both never going to change the way these corrupt judges can be honest nor will this ethics ever hold them responsible. There never going to do any good.
Having said that they just expect the American people believe they can be trusted by them just getting away with taking these bribes and never being held liable for what they have done. They are so past corrupt Judges and corrupt men that they honestly expect no consequences.
I don’t know how anyone ever takes there case to the Supreme Court and trust that these corrupt judges are going to rule by the law and not by favoring the rich who will continue bribing these three judges maybe even the rest of the Republican judges to get what they want. They are just going to be more careful in how they are paid off. There corrupt and they have corrupted our highest court. I don’t think there is any way to ever gain the trust of the American people unless these corrupt judges are removed from the Supreme Court.
The American people need to continue voicing that these Corrupt Judges need to be Removed in order to try to regain the trust of the American people. Otherwise they are never going to be trusted and the stench of corruption is all that our highest court will ever be seen as a corruption of Republican judges who are bribed by the rich to get away with violating laws and there rich friends get away with it because these judges are being bribed with gifts of luxury motor homes, a house , college tuition, vacations, rides on luxury private plains and who knows what else these corrupt judges have been bribed with. We’re suppose to believe these judges are going to do the right thing.
There going to continue being bought off by the rich and the American people can believe them as much as they can believe Trump is an honest human being who never lies.
So unless the corruption is gone there trust from the American people will not nly get worse which can only go to 100 % untrustworthy and they have only a little wiggle room before they are 100 % untrustworthy.

Silly of us to actually believe that a code of conduct for Supreme Justices will be enforced and those who breach it held accountable. They’d never police themselves!
So with this move the Supreme Court members think they have been forgiven and they got away with it. Don't allow it!

It’s seems pretty straightforward- Thomas should be impeached and Sortamayor ? Should resign? There is no “oops, I didn’t know “.No one is above the law.

Most people have lost all respect for the Supreme Court. These men and women have themselves to blame. Changing their policies will not make much of a difference because there is no one to police the Supreme Court. Most of the people on the Supreme Court see themselves the same way Trump sees himself, they can do and say anything they want because they are all powerful.
