Bernie heads that hearing, and he has the power to do what he wants. He's the Senate head of all these committees. And, chairs the most powerful committee up there in the Senate.
Also, what is taking place is Mitch McConnell is failing to do his Job too! McConnell is also supposed to be stepping in taking charge of Mullins telling him, "Look, either chill out, and behave, or I will pull you off that Panel!" But, McConnell is not doing his job at all!
His Clown Car is parked outside. He's not there to represent voters. He's there to put on show for Rich People, MAGA's, and GOP freaks.
