Surprised no one is pointing fingers at team selection. Not just for the final but the entire wc. India team was living on the edge with something got to break at sometime. Sure you played 6 batsman 5 bowlers. But neither the batsman could bowl nor the bowlers could bat (except jadeja). So once you start to lose 4 quick wickets, the number 5 and 6 have to play as if only 2 players left to play. This is what happened and KL could not play freely. You pick SKY as x-factor but leave the other end unsecured by picking shami, bumrah, kuldeep, siraj. So far in the wc league matches, we were lucky as the batsman and bowlers executed perfectly. Now in the final this just exposed our weakness. India somehow needs bowlers of the calibre of Ashwin, Axar, Hardik, Washington who can bat. Its ok to pick not your total best bowlers but play bowlers who can hold one end so that players like KL and Sky can play freely. Only Bumrah and Kuldeep deserved to be in the team as pure bowlers. Rest of them except Jadeja could have made way for a better batsman cum bowler.

The fielding by Australia was just amazing. They outbatted outbowled outfieled and outwitted us so they deserved the cup. We need fast bowling allrounders to attack more from the top. Hardik is a good player but consistenly injured, we need to find others. 1.4 billion people are there we must have atleast 3 allrounders in domestic, we need to find them.
