  2. Roast them in the oven for the best results

  3. Fresher than when it was almost all grown, hunted, or trapped within a few miles? I doubt it.

  7. Brussel sprouts are my favorite, but they need to be roasted and charred. Boiled or steamed sprouts are nasty

  8. This is NOT the selective breeding of better plants!!! Take a look at what happened to tomatoes the last 30 years!! Farmers are growing food that travels better and lasts longer–but does NOT taste better.

  9. I am old enough to remember when Brussels sprouts were abhored. I believe they needed a better PR agent! LOL!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  10. πŸ’šπŸ™ luv Brussel sprouts

  11. βœžβ€β€πŸ”₯ Now let me remind you, brothers and sisters, of what the Gospel really is, for it has not changedβ€”it is the same Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then and still do now, for your faith is squarely built upon this wonderful message; and it is this Good News that SAVES you if you still firmly believe it, unless of course you never really believed it in the first place. I passed on to you right from the first what had been told to me : 🌿 THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS JUST AS THE SCRIPTURES SAID HE WOULD, AND THAT HE WAS BURIED, AND THAT THREE DAYS AFTERWARDS HE AROSE FROM THE GRAVE JUST AS THE PROPHETS FORETOLD. (1 Co 15:1-4 TLB)

  12. I like bitter brussel sprouts

  13. I literally just ate a pound of Brussel sprouts πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  14. That kitchen transition was good

  15. How strange. A local thing? In Chile, I have had Brussels for decades and never found a bitter one. They are just like tiny cabbages, only softer, more delicate – and more expensive πŸ˜„
