South Africa’s former Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius, jailed in 2014 for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, has been granted parole effectively from Jan. 5, 2024, the Department of Correctional Services said on Friday.

What a joke!
This sickens me. He murdered Reeva Steenkamp. I don’t buy any of this “I thought there was an intruder nonsense”. She locked herself in fleeing from the monster. He should have rotted in prison for the rest of his life. I can only imagine how her family must feel now. I hope karma catches up with him.
In the meantime, many inmates who have way lesser crimes are serving way longer jail time.
