‘I am a figure of the post-war’: John F. Kennedy pitches his 1960 campaign on Meet the Press



Sixty years ago this week, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. Meet the Press looks back to his 1960 appearance on the broadcast as then-Sen. John F. Kennedy (D-Mass.) pitched his campaign for the White House and asserted his “strong convictions as to what the United States must do to maintain its position as the leader of the free world, and its own survival.”
