If Iran gives weapons to Russia (China won't even do that directly) then it legitimates enhanced US support to Ukraine. Moscow beefed up Hamas support when Israel sold the Iron Dome to Finland. Israel SOLD to Finland because Moscow would not cooperate with Israel on airspace in Syria , if Israel sold dome to Ukraine. Ukraine wants US airstrikes and Israel Iron Dome air defense. We can not give that to them because Russia will escalate in Syria. Russia does not have enough weapons. China will launder weapons through Iranian sales. USA/Euro/Isr can NOT let this happen. Or communism/socialism wins.
