Yeah it is great. BUT if they now have open kennels and paid staff on standby they have an obligation to absorb animals from all the thousands of shelters 30O% over capacity who kill so many animals everyday they don’t even bother to name them. Let’s remember what this work is about: saving lives not patting ourselves on the back

Are the pets adopted, or do they get to feel at home, only to be back in a cage after a day or two? Adopted is great. A holiday home, maybe not so much. That must be confusing to them.
Hopefully after the holidays are over people won’t return them or dump them like they did after the pandemic. Js
