The fighting between Hamas and Israel serves as evidence of an instance of conflict between the Middle East and the West. The mindset of people in the Middle East is adversarial to Western values. Of course Middle Eastern countries relish money and materialism from oil. But religion and democracy are in conflict. The school system in the West is not prepared to integrate people with this mindset into a Western society. The vetting of migrants is incompetent.
