Don’t want to set a precedent that corruption will not be allowed or tolerated. Also, Santos stole credit cards and the identities of his constituents. Can’t set a precedent that his constituents’ lack of safety won’t be tolerated. Criminals have each other’s backs so Santos may survive his latest expulsion vote to lie, cheat, and steal another day.
