Well, let’s see if they care about the cost of living in where the property taxes are going cause in California everybody’s property taxes go to the rich district, not even their own district and everybody in California wants to overprice the cost of living here. No one wants the job anymore. Tehy're useless and have limited "power"/ our's is useless. Just a gov. office a check and a sec. who tells everyone who calls that you're in a meeting, never return calls. Give you the Okey Doke run-around. It's like the PTA, like watching paint dry most of the time.
I'm not sure why the council being all female is inherently a good thing. Women would be up in arms complaining of institutional sexism if the city council were all male. I'm more impressed when people are elected because of their competence, not because they belong to any particular gender.

That city is doomed.
Well, from Houston here, but I lived in Minnesota years ago, and worked at The United Way of Greater Minneapolis. The department I worked in consisted of all women. It was the best environment to work in and the mentoring was incredible. I still salute Minnesota for its progressive political environment. They're so far ahead of Texas, but it's getting better here. I really like ppl from Minnesota and wish you all a happy winter season❣
