This is great ๐
women thats who
With all the GQP MAGA nonsense such as banning books, restricting curriculum, etc going on with many school boards in red states, it is encouraging to see that many students are taking matters in their own hands and seeking out reading material at public libraries. Expand your mind!
I'm commenting from the public library right now. But I'm not young.
Take that boomers!
good info ..thx ..fits right in with my study ๐
Glad they are. Boomers don't go as much we buy our books
so what do they read?
I go for peace and quiet. And to take a break from the world.
Very funny. I (a millennial) don't care for libraries and haven't been to one since high school and my gen z kids don't care either. They prefer Kindle and online resources. I also know zero gen z kids who partake in libraries. Too manystrbtng hmlss.

Great vid
Fantastico!
libraries modernized and now seamlessly allow users to hold, track, renew, and return books and other media so easily. it's like a shopping app. i have no doubt this is a major reason why the interest has gone up a lot. so keep investing in tech.
Reading is underated
I buy all my books mostly only history interest me but a big stephen king fan also..I have at least 20 books from the library I haven't returned though lol
The digital detox is a strong argument. I think it explains a lot.
I love the library and bookstores. Gen Z and millennials like all forms of media. Reading, TV, Video Games, and Social Media. We are not stupid like so many older generations think we are. Also, a possible reason for people perceiving Gen Z and millennials "reading less" might be school work is amped up higher than ever, and people want to socialize.
Good job to the parents pushing their children to read more!! ๐
Libs have perverted books in libraries
I'm a child-free millennial who visits the library at least twice a month. I love checking out cookbooks, coffee table books, magazines, and movies that are trending before buying them. There are so many kind and helpful people who work there. It's so peaceful there so always enjoy going even just to pick things up. My grandmother and I YEARS ago used to volunteer at the library which was so fun as a kid.
I donโt believe the American library associations numbers.
Still a lower turnout to libraries than ever before though….left that part out.
There is nothing like having a physical book in your hands โค
if true….this is fantastic!!
Corporate showing good children's how they are not team players. To justify useless corporations bottleneck scam they've made for self at top.
The leadership of the American Library Association are unashamedly Marxist. They are the reason that there is pornographic materials seeping into the classroom.
What are they studying? Which gender they are?
I am curious to know what books Gen Z is reading.
Toss-up between library and McDonalds.
Iโm LATE Gen X and I go to either the library or my locally owned bookstore at least once a week. Iโm even part of a book club. Weโre called โThe Readers For Lifeโ! ๐ ๐ ๐
I love my small town library its awesome. You can check out books, CDs and DVDs. You can use internet and printer, which is great i dont have computer. Book and craft events. You find info on anything and they like loan between libraries. I โค books and I โค librarys. If your poor the possiblites for services is awesome.
With what schools teach now days I'm surprised gen z and millenials can even read. Maybe it's just picture books, video games, and how to be selfish books they look at. It certainly doesn't seem to be educational reading.
Good place to make out
Yeah, I used to sleep and live in the library during college, but then when I came back this year parking now became fee and my days spending like 6-8 hours in the library are now over ๐
