The Israeli military says the men were questioned after being found in a Hamas stronghold, and that Hamas fighters often disguise themselves in civilian clothing. NBC News’ Richard Engel reports.

How ridiculous to think that Israel has to act differently than any other military. Detainees have to be stripped (you see more on a beach)! They were not naked. How else can you be sure that they have no weapons otherwise.

These same people in Gaza, Gaza civilians, who say they are living in fear of Israeli retaliation have spent their lives supporting Hamas or some other radical group.
Many Gaza civilians celebrated the slaughter of the elderly, woman and children.

Gaza civilians kept quiet with knowledge of terrorist plans, activities and whereabouts because they support the destruction of Israel.
They had the opportunity to co-exist with the Israelis but chose not to do so. Their plight is at least in part of their own making.
Some of the hostages are held by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, another group based in Gaza, the officials said, and others are held by “random Gaza citizen opportunists,”
