no owners check the parapet caps or where the roof meets the parapet wall. water gets between the brick courses and heat and cold force the skin to separate. see it a lot here in Pittsburgh with old brick buildings. whole sections of facades just peel off.

You can actually see the crack in the front pillar behind the ice machine and men in the 'before' picture! Time frame 1:20 . Caught it on the first time I saw it…that kind of crack on the corner support pillar is suspect in my book.

Heres a recent story from a New York City local YouTuber that outlines the issue, builing collapes in New York City are getting more and more common. The average age of building in the city is 90 years old for heavens sake.
