Baseball superstar Shohei Ohtani signed a record breaking 10-year, $700 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers, believed to be the largest contract in sports history. Ohtani announced his signing with the Dodgers on Instagram.

Bored. Every bc channel reports the same contents. Any TV programme let us know about defferred payment proposed by Shohei and CBT collapse, devastating situtations of another LA team and what they're struggling for their midterm future….?
And he deferred most of the payment, which means the Dodgers get to put a team together. It’s about to be a dynasty out west! Let’s go Dodgers!!
Also he chose the Dodgers so that Japan could easily watch the games live from Japan the way they have the past 6 years.
The thing is, he never played for money.

For the past decade.. maybe 2 decades.. people who know and love Baseball, have lamented it's ever shrinking popularity. BASEBALL needs a "Renaissance" .. and THIS BOOST of popularity and attention to Baseball WORLDWIDE. The Dodgers getting him.. and expanding his reach and BASEBALL POPULARITY is a no brainer GREAT thing for baseball.
