I don’t recognize the United States of America where they don’t support funding to stop an authoritarian dictatorship from taking over a Democracy, while the Republican’s leading candidate touts his desire to be an authoritarian leader who seeks retribution against anyone who disagree with him. These are signs of a declining nation and everyone would be fearful of the outcomes that will be produced by allowing a dictator to take over a democracy using military means while another wannabe dictator attempts to take over our country at the ballot box.

I don't understand the voters in the US stating that they wouldn't vote for Biden because of the economy. The US is doing better than any other G7 country. In 2025 the tax break for the rich runs out and the Republicans want that back. Why would voters want another tax break for the rich because that is exactly what they would get if Trump gets back in power. They are basically siding with the rich and powerful when you side with a Republican because republicans do not side with the common man, which is clearly seen by the policies they put forward. One of the changes was the increase in the number of conservative judges appointed to the court, which led to a conservative majority 1. Another change was the increase in the use of the “shadow docket,” which is a term used to describe cases that are decided without oral argument, full briefing, participation by amici, and even warning to the public 1. The shadow docket has existed for decades, but it exploded during the Trump administration, as the increasingly conservative majority stepped into dozens of lower-court cases to award a win to the administration without bothering to hear the challenges out 1.
I did not find any information about changes in the way judges were vetted after 2015. However, according to an article on Ballotpedia, in 2017, the Trump administration notified the American Bar Association (ABA) that it would no longer receive special access to background information on judicial candidates prior to their nomination 2. THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE!
