Last I remember, who willy-nilly aborted late-term babies just cuzz? This (basic abortions) were never an issue in the states until religious goons made it their single-issue voting point. Abortion rights (with limited objections) is needed at a federal level due to these clusters of zealots in certain states having the ability to force their religious beliefs on others by means of state law. My daughter-in-law gave birth to our near full term grandson 14 years ago. She learned that her unborn son would NOT SURVIVE for very long due to a fatal brain condition but it was "too late" for an abortion. My son held his son for about one hour before he died in agony gasping for air. At the graveside service my son collapsed into my younger son's arms and we felt absolutely crushed and powerless to even so much as console him or my daughter-in-law. I am weeping with rage and sorrow as I write these words at dawn. My hope is that the God these equivocating pious frauds and self appointed physician/Attorney Generals believe in deliver true justice to them. And I hope it is every bit as painful as losing a child right after birth who was forced to suffer needlessly.
I am against abortion in general but at some point common sense, empathy, sympathy and decency must be allowed to rule the day!
