You need balls to be honest. 17 years ago there were those candles too, but it was in last years Weiss claimed reperations from Poland, as jews suffered loss of property in occupied country during WW2. it wasn't an insult at all, right? Demand for crimes not only not committed, but also related to Poles themselves. Where were they when the country was coming back from ruin?

I have much interest in this Polish news event because…
1. It was highly unusual.
2. It was funny.
3. My ancestry is Polish (Babcia was from Womza. Dziadek died before I was born).
4. The event directly (or indirectly) raises a debatable question: Should a democratic and secular goverment allow the display of religious symbols in public spaces?
Recently I left another comment on this event and I wrongly suggested Mr Braun may have a mental issue. I recieved an angry reply: "Are you a pshychiatrist?!"
No, I am not and I apologize for suggesting Mr Braun was not well. But I would really like to know, specifically, what was Mr Braun so angry about? That was not made clear. Of course, the news media never provides all the details relevant to the story.

He is not far-right. The Polish parliament is not a religious institution. If it is to become a religious institution, let it also celebrate Christmas, Pentecost, Corpus Christi, Easter, Moslem Ramadan, Orthodox Passover, Buddhist Buddha Purnima and African Kwanza. Exceptions should not be made for only one religion because this would be religious discrimination. Mr Braun is right.
