I understand what Phillips is saying..that if Biden faces Trump in the re-match, he will lose..perhaps I'm less certain of that as a lock than he is, but he might well be right about that much..hence, 'threat to democracy" …imo Biden's own aside last week that he would not even run again except he's the best chance to stop Trump shows he's as tired in health and browned off as he looks , and he really HAS to pull a LBJ'68 because of that and bow-out, whether it shortens Trump's final odds or not-
