  1. I support good policing. Comming from a family of police officers all have told me that police academy training is insufficient.

"Our training begins on the job (OJT). We are trained by other police officers with supposedly more experience. If these trainers have bad morals or work ethics or little respect for the public than that's what we are taught. Its up to each individual to sort out right from wrong. We are also taught to cover for our fellow officers."

It sounds like the thin blue line to me.
If this officer is under investigation so should his trainers and department.

  2. "Acting in accordance with training"? THEN YOUR TRAINING IS F×CKED UP AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED! That simple people, you hear from officers all the time, they are trained to make sure they go home. Their safety is put before all else even what is legal and proper.
