From an outsider’s point of view, American opinion is swayed by which news channel you watch. So if you’re republican you watch certain news outlets that have a right wing bias, if you’re democrat you will not watch those outlets, but instead watch other news outlets with left wing biased views.
I’m not residing in USA and am therefore interested in both sets of views.
Having said that, I ask myself, how can the same person be portrayed as a hero on one outlet and a villain on another?

Americans talk about USA as the land of the free, yet I have more freedom where I live than you do. Our media is much less biased, although there seems to be a mild left wing bias. Americans protect their right to freedom of speech, but yet they are not free to think for themselves. American opinion is obviously being swayed by whichever media outlets they follow.
Mr Trump may not be a picture perfect president, but he did make politics interesting. Compared to the dusty, incoherent puppet president that occupies the White House now.
From what I can see Trump’s heart was in the right place. He did do a lot to try and fix things that are obviously broken in America, in spite of all the worlds left wing biased news outlets being against him and I truly believe that on the whole he was a good president.
In reference to the 2020 election results which I followed, it did seem odd that Biden was behind in the votes then all of a sudden a late flurry of votes were found and Joe got the presidency. With a politicised intelligence service and so much obvious corruption in American politics it’s not hard to imagine some level of interference in the election. My own opinion. Sure what would I know?
