After 20 hours, rescuers finally freed a man trapped inside a cliff along the San Diego coast. Officials say he fell 15 feet into a narrow hole, just over a foot wide, and told them he had been screaming for help for days. NBC News’ Liz Kreutz shares this story.

There should be a holiday just for first responders. What a job.
What's crazy and something they don't put too much emphasis on (I don't know why) but the thunderstorms and lightning were actually really bad. They were rescuing the man through heavy rain and the lightning and thunder were very present through the middle of the night. Big props!
