  1. Drama of any kind especially to a child is inexcusable in my eyes and in the should be in the eyes of the law questions asked and I understand from past experience for myself and my daughter things that can happen that re-traumatized you from a PTSD perspective and I send up my prayers to God for this young little 9 year old and I am so glad because I am only an hour away from where she was abducted and I'm so glad they found her lies and it's good as it could have been but I do understand their needs to be changes in the way things are handled as far as the aftermath got a family and the victim goes somehow seems so unfair and they get an excuse about let's get behind the bandwagon and make some changes so that this isn't a constantly traumatizing effect on our young people and the victims and their families some called for

  2. I would not let my kid ride in the woods by themselves.

  4. OK first of all, of course telling her story is traumatizing and secondly, she said something I thought was weird. She said she didn’t ask for this to happen to her. Of course, she didn’t ask for this to happen to her. No kidnapped person asked to be kidnapped. That’s why it’s called kidnapping. but I’m glad they got her back.

  5. Great interview amazing as the best questions I'm so thankful you put this out there

  6. "It can't happen to me" is anyone's WORST mistake in instances like this. It CAN happen to ANYONE whatever it is.

  7. when we where kids my mom always knew where we went and if we where late she would come looking for us it’s sad this little girl just wanted one more bike ride and a sick monster grabbed her yes it was a secure campground but at nine you still should have a parent with you

  8. Really? Wrong place wrong time? Why did y’all let her go alone on a bike ride? This type of thing we all learned from the 80’s not to let your kids out riding bikes in an unfamiliar area. People please keep your children safe by not letting them out of your sight or have a responsible adult watching them.

  9. Not news.
