It seems like all counties along the southern border should be established as buffer zones where all southern migrants can be fully screened, processed, and protected.
There is a need to screen out any migrant that may be too much risk regarding crime.
Nonprofit organizations may be afraid to get involved. But if it were possible every state needs to encourage nonprofit volunteers to assist with all of this.
Just conceivably all southern border counties need encampments for migrants where they can be screened and processed and somehow engaged to pay for food, shelter, and processing.
If it were possible then there should be impenetrable walls along the border from the Atlantic ocean to the Pacific ocean.
