Over the last 10 years, I've heard of other cases like this one. The person has been missing for many years until it's finally discovered that they accidentally drove off the road into a deep body of water.

Glad for the family that they can now have closure. Also glad for the man she went on that date with on her last day alive. He's been living under a cloud of suspicion since she disappeared.
You would think by the damage on the van that there would have been evidence of a crash at the time. Crazy!

How bad of a driver do u have to be to end up in a lake I’m an elite driver I never crash I own a BMW M2 competition it’s a perfect car to avoid accidents it’s superior handling and low weight makes it a god on the road especially tight turns that van was her downfall to slow of a vehicle

I’m very happy for those men. They finally get the closure they deserve but they get to properly lay her to rest the way she deserved. Bittersweet ending for them. RIP to their Mom.

It is pronounced " Lee- Mire " ( as in the saying " muck and mire " ). I know this having known/ dated a man with that same last name. …uncanny thing…. he was from Florida . Small world.
Imagine the years of not knowing if the family had just been given the cellphone location data 12 years ago. Or if authorities had used it.
Some thing is wrong there.
