With today’s ratio of crappy quality woke education to astronomical cost, I’m not surprised they pick travel. It’s got to be more educational too. But where will travel $ come from? Mom & Dad, of course…because the kids are living at home until they’re 30+.
Gen Z be living with their mom and can set savings on the back burner. $$
I don't think they're smart enough to travel and get something out of the experience. Plus who's paying for it? They won't work, so I imagine they want us tax payer to foot the bill!

Well idk what this stats really reveal, but 85% of college graduates do nothing toward their degree… There are way too many people getting college degrees in fields they don't even touch and end up wasting their time.

I'm Gen X, and considering educational standards today, and what's come from Harvard, MIT, and UPen, I'd spend it on travel too.
Who wouldn’t? Education now is an overpriced con job. But since they won’t work who’s paying for them to tootle around?
Education in America isn’t crapped up to be all that helpful .
Maybe it's better, with the education system in the state it is. Education has become indoctrination, and that's never good.
Why is anyone surprised about this? The education system has failed just about everyone. Why get in that much debt for a degree that does nothing for you? The only degrees that are really necessary anymore: law, medicine, engineering, and finance. They don’t teach skills anymore, they teach political ideologies.
The politicians are lying, this economy is in the toilet and regular people in the real world know it. Doom spending seems foolish to me, but I totally understand why the young generation has almost given up. Inflation eats up everything they earn, they can't save money and no one in DC is serious about fixing it, so they just have a '' Live for today!" attitude and go nuts.
To be fair, most of Gen Z education is pretty worthless
