Why are borders a sharp, thin line? Perhaps in the future borders will have width (half mile wide for instance) that belong to both countries and share budget, infrastructure, security, immigration, etc. Great place to have military training facilities and such IMO.

I was waiting for this. There is a systematic relationship between close calls, about 13 close calls equals one big crash up as a statistical truth over time. In looking at the collision on the runaway and the fire; there should have been zero survivors on the larger jet.
