The Supreme Court announced it will consider whether former President Trump can be banned from the ballot in Colorado. The announcement comes just hours after President Biden visited the Revolutionary War site Valley Forge, arguing democracy is at stake this election. NBC News’ Peter Alexander reports.

Trump will win. Colorado and Maine have forgotten the constitutional right to due process. Trump has not been charged with insurrection nor found guilty. The ones who have decided to remove him from the ballot should be removed from office for violating a persons constitutional right.
1 justice has made the ruling a decade ago at the federal level to ban an induvidual for the same type of things. Another has said all 50 states should follow colorado & maine. Guess fast tracking something so important as the use of the constitution to ban dictators for their actions isn't so fast as itll be a month before they even start the process? Good thing we all still want to believe america first while clarence is more worried about his next free trip out of the pockets of billionaires. I am canadian and i gotta say that the US Democrats should be embarrassed at what they are doing in the courts to prevent Trump from running…the Dems have no idea or maybe simply dont care what their actions are doing to America's external image which is all negative…seems to me its the US Democrats that are the real threat to democracy in the USA.

Someone please explain how Trump was BANNED from the ballot if he was not convicted of anything relating to Jan. 6? We can all say that he incited the whole thing, but our "OPINIONS" shouldn't be viewed as a criminal conviction. And, I DO NOT like him, but this is our CONSTITUTION that is being messed with here.

the question presented to the supreme court is "Did Colorado err in removing Trump from the ballot" nothing about the so called insurrection specifically… just if they were in error… for any reason. This of course leaves it wide open for ANY error in Colorado's decision. Words and language matters, folks.

The Supreme Court is in his back pocket. This might be the breaking point of what America is assumed to be. If the actual criminal justice system is breached and/or corrupted, it’s game over.

States do not have the authority to determine the federal election. The Supremacy Clause and numerous rulings have shown this. Next, the argument that there was an "insurrection" is bogus. There has been no charge, much less conviction, of "insurrection" for former President Trump. Finally, if leftist states are allowed to remove a president that they do not like, then conservatives will have to do likewise the Democrats, such as the hugely unpopular Biden.

As seen in the footage, many times watching it repeatedly, there’s no change, showing trump is not just engaged in the Jan.6 insurrection, but the only main perpetrator, mastermind, and orchestrator of the insurrection, first time to happen in US history. Because there would be no insurrection at all if not because of him. Section 3 of the 14th amendment is the exact law that fits him under the constitution.
