  1. I don't like the interviewer. Seems like she's reaching for a trigger point. And that's not right. Blame shifting. This woman was an addict as a child, and abused beyond comprehension. Her mother obviously had a cluster B personality combined with munchausen byproxy. Deadly combination.

  2. It would have cost her nothing to admit that the sentencing disparity between her and her ex was unfair. Her “well wishes” to him are hollow. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve to be in prison but he definitely got screwed over by her.

Edited to add: I am extremely sympathetic to what she went through, I’m only commenting on the sentencing disparity and her reaction to the question of unfairness

  3. Although I am happy to see her finally be free I hope she is getting all the help she needs to undo all the damage her mother did to her for all those years she needs it

  4. "Gypsie becoming the mastermind" "why didn't you just walk out" "you're famous even though you participated in a murder" are you freaking serious with these comments? As if this girl, who was horribly abused was this genius murderer plotting and plotting to commit this crime and looking for recognition. How dare you, as a news team, getting a story from her (willingly) would use such verbiage. That's disgusting. You people either don't care about what she experienced or you don't understand and therefore is the reasoning to gaslight and make her seem like the criminal instead of the victim. This interviewer was trying to be an attorney and attempt to re-try her rather than hear her. She also didn't manipulate with her mother. No child, or person, would undergo unnecessary procedures willingly to '"MANIPULATE." She was coerced out of fear.

I will say this thought, I don't like the fact Gypsie was aloof about her bf's life sentence. It was a joint effort and she should be more sad about his situation, a situation that freed her. That part was questionable.

  5. I love this for her so much. We thank God for her healing ❤

  6. I did not tihnk then or now she should have gone to prison. I also feel she raised massive awareness regarding Munchausen by proxy. You see this very much in the transition of young children. Has a gay man i have come across a lot of parents who fit the profile. I feel in her position she probably felt it was her only option but hindsight is great. I hope she does really well now she is free.

  7. Has there ever been an investigation into medical professionals as there actions were based on one persons opinion and not actually looked into from a medical perspective?

  8. Her husband is the next on the list. I feel sorry for what happened to her and it is not her fault that she is crazy – but she seems very manipulative.

  9. I'm happy for Gypsy… Finally she is free. ❤

  10. She is not a normal woman. That is a ticking time bomb. I hope she's in therapy.

  11. I was not too fond of the interviewer's tone or approach. This is a girl who has undergone serious trauma and abuse and is living with the effects today. A little empathy and compassion in her delivery of questions rather than interrogation would be better.

  12. She went through horrible abuse and trauma by her own mother, yet she doesnt excuse herself or play victim for the murder she participated in. That shows so much maturity, growth and strength by a young woman who has never had a "normal" life.
It's just hard to believe how many people failed this child for decades (doctors, her father).

  13. Some people have so many say about her being released while her ex partner was still behind bars, even though she was the one plotting the murder. It may not be a valid reason for her to be given that privilege, because killing somebody is never good despite from what they’ve done to you. It isn’t something we needed to support. But seeing how & what she went through is kind of selfish for her mom to do it without any conscience by fooling people around them, for so many yrs. she endured it. Yet she’s smart enough how to get away from the situation. To plead guilty is something that other criminals can’t do it. She’s humble & with all sincerity she knows & admitted she has done wrong. She whole heartedly accepted the consequences. And now, she’s taking her life back. She deserves to live the life she should have like how others living their good life. God bless your journey. I hope & pray that you will never do murder again while living and experiencing life in this world. Because, we’re surrounded with people that can intentionally or unintentionally fool & hurt us. Never make murder as your solution to get away with it. Pray & just avoid.

  14. Omg so romantic ❤ her husband is so good for her. That would be so cool if they made a show on there journeys.. yes we are nosy gypsy..

  15. I wanna say like 50 things right now on gypsy. But I am half 😴 asleep I love her. She is so smart. Caring beautiful inside and out. Her step mother omg just wow she has a amazing family. I so happy for you gypsy 🌹

  16. I am also wandering about the young boyfriend who killed Gypsys abusive mother ,do you think he should spend life in jail?

  17. Such pretty girl…she shuld have never gone to jail

  18. not sure, but seems she enjoying the limelight like her mother.

  19. How does one grow up being abused, entirely, and just walk away without reacting?

Murder is hardly ever the answer, but was her mother not risking her life for the entirety of it?

No one should condone what she did, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't be shown mercy, more than others who take a life.

  20. She's very manipulative and that's all I have to say besides the ex shouldn't be spending time in jail and she's not.

  21. OMG what a horrific life!

  22. She is not a hero….many are abused and hey don’t kill she killed period

  23. 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮

  24. The doctors (who knew her mom was a liar and just wanted her money) and police failed young people. They should have counted it as self defense for all the trauma and false hospitalization she put her child through. But I do not like how she talked about her ex boyfriend. He unfairly went to jail because of her plot, and she got out early, but she is too casual about this situation and even shows off her new boyfriend aka crutch 😅 They put the person less responsible in Life :/

  25. She is an amazing human being and survived 2 decades of inhumane abuse. I wish her the best ❤

  26. The fact that her first day in jail was her first day of freedom speaks volumes

I'm so happy that she seems healthy now and so well spoken, looks like she did a lot of self reflecting behind bars

Sure she didn't have to plot her mother's murder but at the time she was so emotionally and physically abused and so isolated that it was nearly impossible for her to see another way out

Also the doctors who examined and diagnosed her should also be tracked down and investigated!

It could have taken only one doctor to tell the truth therefore saving her and placing her mother behind bars instead of Gypsy

Wishing her a healthy and happy journey ahead and glad that she is now the voice of other youngsters who may be experiencing abuse by telling them that murder isn't the way out

  27. she didnt have sex in the room next to her mom's.. she was raped

  28. I would accept all of this – if she hadn't implicated another person. Is anyone asking about the guy who she manipulated and got a life sentence?

  29. Starting a family should be the last thing she should be thinking about. Learn what life is, be yourself and live a life to know who you are and what you want before you start popping out kids

  30. Her cases remind me so must injustice case the west memphis three on how she discard the blame and they just focus the full blame on her ex when his IQ is low knowing he was also taken advantage by her.

  31. She likes hanging around with fatties which is a shame. Mother and husband are morbidly obese.
