A U.S. Coast Guard crew helped reunite a dog named Leo with his owners after he fell off an Oregon cliff on New Year’s Day. The Coast Guard shared an update from Leo’s owners on Tuesday, saying he is doing well and suffered “only a few cuts and bruises.”

I have a lump in my throat, this is kindness at it's core. You can hear the concern between the men communicating and you can almost envision them doing a high five after the successful rescue. This is how the world we live in should be, where all are respected, loved and protected.

Do people have to pay for helocopters to rescue their dogs? All I'm thinking of is how much a HOSPITAL charges you to save your own life if they have to use a heli. Do rescue teams like this charge people?
