This is exactly why I don’t believe any building or home should have natural gas lines running to them. Where I live…the electric company has the natural gas pumped to it and it powers the electricity that gets sent by wires to homes and buildings….which is much safer…and still clean energy since the natural gas is powering the electricity. Natural gas is extremely dangerous and explosive…and kills many every year in their sleep when it leaks.

This is why all contractors should be licensed and insured. No one should be installing or servicing gas lines or equipment without a license. On a side note the big box stores are selling this stuff to amateurs

All these gas leak explosions in America are more than a little bit suspicious. The government needs to impose mandatory yearly inspections by fire marshalls of all natural gas installations in American buildings and homes. Check all the pipes, pumps, fireplaces, tanks, connectors etc every year.
