I was on an Alaskan Air plane once full of federal inmates flying from Oklahoma City to West Virginia. We lifted off and about ten minutes later the plane began to lose control, tossing us all to and fro, smoke filled the plane and everyone was screaming. The windows had coverings because they didn't want us to see out. I looked at the guy next to me and said, "Well, I guess this is how it end." The next thing I know is we're going down. That pilot had some serious skills, regardless of the faulty airplane. We safely landed back in Oklahoma City and were made to stand somewhere on the runway for hours awaiting another plane. Yep, another retired Alaskan Air plane. The federal government gets them when they're no longer safe to fly the public…
I hope every airline aircraft will check and inspect all of the aircraft!
