I have never seen a luckier bowler. I would estimate that at least 90% of the wickets he's got in his career have come about through batsmen getting themselves out when not giving one of his usual dreadful deliveries the treatment it deserves.
I think it's fair to say that, as far as his bowling is concerned, Jordan is having a shocking BBL season! 1/33 from 3 overs today and that is by no means his worst figures in recent weeks!
I just cannot believe that captains are still letting Chris Jordan bowl! You're asking a specialist fielder to do something he's incapable of!
Jordan has always been a terrible bowler but he's been particularly awful for the past couple of years and at 35, he's unlikely to get any better!

Started with the Short ‘brothers’ and then with the fireworks of Weatherald. Jakey has to just keep batting like he has nothing to lose and nothing to prove – that was his natural game tonight and great to see.

I was one of those who said weatherald wasn’t in our best 11, his form wasn’t there but given the opportunity tonight he grasped it with both hands. Credit where credits due, take a bow, great innings tonight. Hopefully confidence will see a return to consistency
