The EVs are not suitable for our country . Batteries have proven to be very unstable. Remember the Ford Pinto . It was too dangerous because it exploded on impact when rear-ended . EVs are way worse . Why are they still selling that crap . They should be taken off the market . We seem to have no consumer protection .

Not everyone takes trips every week. most people drive less than 100 miles a week, especially in cities. If Big 3 want to sell cars to EU's they better make EVs or Hybrids otherwise they will be shut out. Investing in a circular EV economy is one of the biggest things private/govt can support next 5-10 years. Big money and no reliance on China.

Ev not going to work for large scale. The power distribution networks do not have the capacity. When you look to say californina…. power outages and blackouts summer with the ac's running. Plus where is the power coming from? Not enough windmills or solar farms for even 5%
They need to massively improve this everywhere before the ev can widespread. Plus check the replacement cost of a battery often 20-30 thousand.
Yes city centres and commuter runs of up to 50 miles. They can work but check out the insurance rates as companies realise that repair costs on ev's with battery damage is ridiculous.
