This is how it works. A leftist enters an institution or company, and keeps very quiet about their political views. Over time, this person rises within the institution or company until they can either hire, or direct policy. At this time, they either maneuver the institution or company to the left, or hire only those that believe as they do. It takes a long time, but once achieved, it is difficult to return because all of the positions of power are owned by the left.
They have been doing this for well over forty years, and will not give up that power easily. They own the Universities, they own the government, and they are close to owning the military. When they get this last pillar they will own the country. Then everyone will find out what fundamental change really means.

It took 10 years to purge Germany of the Nazis after they lost WWII. I can easily see it taking that much or more to purge western culture of the insane liberals that have seized government, academia and the media.

It took decades for the Marxist ideology that permeates most education institutes to be put in place and purge those who resist it – it will take decades to reverse that impact, and therefore it will never be purged because as soon as the Democrats, ably assisted by the RINOs, get back into power (or retain power, as in the current situation) the Marxist ideology will once again be pushed into these institutes, but they will be starting from a raised position since there will still be Marxists in those institutions.
But making the education (aka indoctrination) institutes Marxist was just one of the objectives, and was a stepping stone to making places the students which pass through those institutes instruments of saturating society with Marxism; anywhere the graduates go is prone to turning Marxist as the graduates get promoted into the higher ranks of those businesses and/or professions, and, of course, government departments and agencies, which are now obviously saturated with Marxist ideology, in case you hadn't noticed.
So even if the education institutes are purged of Marxist ideology, that ideology has now saturated many parts of society and definitely the government departments and agencies – how will Marxism be purged from these places when those non-appointed people who run these agencies will be in charge of purging Marxism from their agency/department, simply, it ain't gonna happen…
If it’s even possible, we may have passed the tipping point.
