Well if there is no record of him going to sleep under anesteshia then why don't they say that he was awake and aware at all times?

Where was Joe Biden when Austin disappeared? Why is Austin not Fired? Is Joe Biden still the President or are his aids the one's running the country? Is this how the government works now? When is it ok, for the Defense Secretary to just go AWOL and he keeps his job? He's got cancer, that's sad but why is he still the Sec Def? Biden is such a disgrace! I think the Democrats get some kind of sick thrill out of giving us people who can't even stand up straight or talk right and they rule us. How many CEOs would put up with kind of crap? Can I just disappear and not tell my boss or show up for work and keep my job?
If Austin was unavailable due to being medicated or put under anesthesia, then the deputy secretary should have notified Biden's staff. That doesn't negate all of the good work time of the secretary, but does it warrant reprimand vs dismisal.

Look, this medical issue was of a "Very Private Nature".. and perhaps concealment of hospitalization was Extremely Wise considering the 'unhinged nature' of maga. Speaking from MY OWN CANCER JOURNEY.. (PSCC(C-RC) It is a very personal thing.. let the man alone already.
Why he was hospitalized is unimportant. The fact he failed in his basic duties to inform the administration and dod for four days, is all that matters. And in his failure, he endangered the entire country. He should resign.
Though, I do wish him a full recovery.
