Lack of leadership…? What ever happened to all the initiatives and "gunho"attitudes the Texas polices had whenever shooting unarmed, nonviolent complying people or bunches of cops surrounding one person holding a camera, and arresting distressed parents trying to rescue their children?
The DOJ had to fix this mess that the local police created. He had to do things by law to ensure those accountable had no loop holes. What happened here was the worst case of police muck up.
So many cops with guns and body armor and they couldn't stop one guy with a machine gun. This is why we need gun control.
If it were a school of little white boys and girls, they would have stopped him a long time ago.
The one officer whose wife or child was in the school was disarmed and kept from entering the classroom. After Columbine most if not all Police departments changed their SOPs and training, so that officers enter the building where the active shooter is asap.
That’s because the kids are all brown
And let’s not forget that Uvalde PD arrested parents for actually wanting to save their own children while they stood down…
Remember guys, this is the state with no gun laws.
