Leftist never mention moral issue of violent offenders and the decline of moral conscience, why? because in their world view good and evil doesn't exist it's all relative to the one who has power. and of course U.S. communist want total power so 'they' want to take away guns of law abiding citizens. Gun laws dont take guns away from criminals. It only hurts the law abiding populace. If i give up my guns that are registered and the government knows i have at the behest of the govt, the crips down the street wont give their guns up that no one knows they have. The vice lords on the other side of town wont give their guns up that no one knows they have, and then theyll use their guns they didnt give up that arent legal or registered to victimize me , my family, or any other unarmed member of the populace they can get ahold of. I guess thats what liberals want though, criminals knowing they can prey upon whoever with no repercussions considering how slack on crime leftist legislation is.

The left wing gun control lobby would make posting right-wing memes or hate speech a disqualifier for gun ownership. They'd say that your speech is dangerous and hateful. Therefore, you lose a human right. If you want to fear gun owners less, become one yourself. Innocent folks should not lose their best tool against predators and criminals because some people are scared. Even if it's a majority of the country. We were founded on the principle of MAJORITY RULE AND MINORITY RIGHTS. That means our RIGHTS are guaranteed even against a legislative majority.
The reason Gun Control has not gone beyond “thoughts and prayers” is because people know that the consequences of not allowing citizens to arm themselves far outweigh the consequences of allowing them to. EVERYTHING is about risk vs. benefit.

Gun control is just taking away freedom. We need less gun control. In areas with the most gun control has the highest crime rates. More people need guns and higher capacity semi autos. Crime is everywhere and people need to defend themselves from criminals.
We must wait until the Democrats have all three branches of government again. Awful cases like Heller, McDonald, and Brewen must be overruled and an opinion stating the second amendment is a collective right must be made. Democrats can then ban guns in America and facilitate the turn into local law enforcement. After a liberal effort to turn them in, the US Military along with UN Troops will confiscate the rest and make arrests when warranted. After the turn-in period, if you are found with a gun life in prison.
The world is never going to stop being a dangerous place so act accordingly. Making things better starts with you and your everyday choices not government.
Here’s a novel idea how about we charge people for committing gun crimes and actually make them do their full sentence no early out for good behavior or anything you do the crime you do the time

The problem is rooted in the removal of God from our schools and pop culture. Gun control has a reverse effect. The laws should target illegal use of guns not taking guns away from the citizens. Mass shootings are fueled by a lack of respect for human dignity, atheism, abortion and a generation that doesn’t value human life.

They merely determine penalties ( which the courts don't enforce).
These media types should report the state's and FBI annual crime statistics, which clearly illustrate what crimes are committed, and who commits them( broken down by age, race, ethnicity, place, time, type of weapon used, drug or gang related, domestic violence ,hate crime, disposition of case, etc. Each state's report is signed by their AG and Governor , so they know exactly what goes on.
