SEE IT: Footage captured by a witness on the ground shows a Boeing 747 aircraft traveling out of Miami International Airport seemingly shooting sparks from its engine as it flies.
The aircraft landed safely Thursday night โafter experiencing an engine malfunction soon after departure,” a spokesperson for Atlas Air said in a statement Friday.
No one was injured in the incident, according to Atlas Air.

She's brilliant!
How did she figure out the plane was on fire?
As the days past and more people lose their minds more jobs will not be taken seriously it all started with restaurants then hospitals now airports. Nobody cares to do their job anymore there are too many checks for planes to prevent this and lately its been alot of poorly maintained planes. Ive flew two different airlines and they both had maintenance issues that were found during flight.
Thank you to the mom for stopping the circle of omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg
Average day in Miami ๐ ๐ ๐
Naaah why would they declare an emergency ๐๐๐.
Theres alot happening in miami lately aliens ๐ฝ now this ๐๐
Fake
I'm glad they made it down safe. Jeez, imagine looking out the passenger window and seeing that. I think I'd be a bit more than worried.
Those are flares to keep another plane from shooting it down. What in the hell os going on down there
Damn Miami aliens
It's called an engine surge, the engine is not on fire, it's just backfiring like a car does.
What happened to it?
Thats not good.. ๐ฎ
JET BLEW?
Of course florida
I'd say the engine was eating itself. I don't think that it would send out showers of sparks and the fire to continue, without it mechanically coming apart. I wonder where that hole was and if it was caused by a piece of the engine?
The commentator does not sound too intelligent.
"I wonder if they're HAVING an emergency." Fixed the grammatical nightmare that is this family…
She thought she was gonna get away with saying OH MY GOD! Lolololol ๐๐๐๐๐ "I wonder if they're doing an emergency"……"DOING AN EMERGENCY?" LOL great parenting….
Ok this freaked me out. I had to call my son who was doing several trips today in and out of Orlando. He said the plane didnโt explode. He wasnโt on it thankfully. Oh heโs a pilot.
Those in Sparks! They are big old flames!
This was no ordinary event. After the plane landed safely, they found a softball sized hole above the jet engine. The NTSB is investigating.
I'm guessing probably due to bird strike
It was headed to Puerto Rico so donโt worry everyoneโฆ that plane is definitely within their safety standards.
I live in Kendall…Not Fake…I saw the same thing last night…
Rather unsettling!!
Nah it's just to confuse heat seeking missiles in order to prevent attacks
THERE IS NO OMG! A B747 CAN EASILY FLY WITH ONLY TWO ENGIES, EASY!! WOMEN STOP DRINKING!!!
Bet that flight was "lit"….
These are the Last Days of Earth, more and more violence, death, unbelievable events, situations and especially, the apostasy happening in America. Set Thine House In Order!
Hope the flight landed safely and all passengers are doing well
Recorded in 80mp
That plane still probably landed safely
Oh well !!
Condolences to the families of the victims of this tragedy
This is called a compressor stall, and it's not as uncommon as you might think.
Considering the safety precautions of modern aviation, incidents like these are not usually a cause of concern. The pilots just shut down the engine and proceed to the closest suitable airport.
