There is a public school in Nebraska that has cameras & locked doors during classes.
All students have key cards to enter while an adult stands at the door to make sure no one runs in as door opens/closes for students.
If a person trys to get inside they must push ring camera button, show a valid ID, then someone comes to meet them at the door to take them to where they need to go in the school.
Why all schools do not take use this type of security to protect everyone from a shooter, kidnapper or whatever?

Armed security, SROs, are way after the fact, too late to stop mass shootings, school shootings. Much of those resources should be concentrated on finding out what motivates these premeditated shootings long before they're even thought of. Blaming them on mental illness goes only so far.
There has to be some societal influences. Like the glorifying of guns.

Ib k used in AZ and saw that with a police officer holding a girl that appeared ro have had an overdose. She looked liveless on his arms. I was working in home care and I stopped to offer for help but he refused as if I was bothering him. After the fact, I realized he probably did not want her resuscitated. I also saw that in the Univisio. News a few years ago during Trump's term where a 14 year old was let ro die from the flu at an AZ prison by not providing medical assistance to him. The camera showed him drop on the floor.
