A school district in Texas is headed to a trial after they punished a Black high school student over his hair. The school claims that the student’s hair style violates the dress code policy, but the family claims that the punishment is a violation of the CROWN act.

This is a complete waste of taxpayer money. There's nothing wrong with that young man's hair when I was going to school a lot of people had mullets and mutton chops and no one asked them to cut their hair.

I have seen white guys going to school with shoulder length hair and girls can have their hair down ( which is way more dangerous if they are in a metalwork class using machinery)…..Female student can also have their hair in elaborate braids like this also…….This kid should fight this school because a similar thing happened in South Africa where one school said girls couldn't have corn rows)…..It's you heritage and his hair is neat and tidy and away from the face…..This is racist.
