  1. You guys are the only ones calling it "gas station heroin" – the absolute gall to nickname is something, then report on it by saying "it has been called gas station heroin by some" … Just IRRESPONSIBLE fear mongering.

    Should be ashamed of yourselves.

  2. Ahhh the FDA just pay them enough and the side effects do not matter at all. And where are the other comments that were here NBC, weird they must have not met the advertisers goals.

  3. A kinda broken system is an understatement! Sugar coating the US government agency. Fact: Failure to uphold their responsibility.

  4. We have the worst food and drug protections of any industrialized democracy.

  5. It works to a degree , is the the ingredient used in any anti depression medications ?

  6. "Tianeptine has been linked to seizures, overdose and death, the same things that can happen in Heroin withdrawal"

15 seconds in, and already hearing something that is scientifically incorrect. Good ol mainstream media not researching what they're talking about.

It is not possible for someone who is in heroin withdrawl to die of an overdose. Overdose happens when an individual uses too much of an opioid, which causes them to experience respiratory depression (reduction in amount of respirations per minute), to the point that they cannot breathe enough to keep enough oxygen going to their brain.

When an individual is in opioid withdrawal, it is because they are physically dependent and do not have enough Heroin in their system.

Also, seizure is fairly uncommon in Heroin withdrawal (note: when I say heroin withdrawal, I am talking about actual diacetylmorphine.. The drug that's sold as 'heroin' nowadays is typically a mixture of fentanyl or its plethora of analogues, xylazine/'tranq', and various cutting agents.

Just stating the facts here. I do not support the use of tianeptine, it is an awful, awful drug.

  7. Have they heard of fentanyl? Maybe let’s ban that.

  8. Stop circumventing natural selection.
