Lethal injection could be hard on the person’s mental health administering it vs pulling a plug for a gas. It’s less invasive for the person doing it.

nitrogen is not oxigen
An article said doctors can't participate in executions for "ethical" reasons, but if you don't have money or enough insurance for a life or death procedure, there's no problem with killing you that way smh!!!
He is not going to have any idea of what is going on. He is not going to be in any pain. In fact, he'll be quite a bit high! But if you are truly concerned about the pain and suffering of these "people" – who do not belong amongst human beings (when guilty. And any lawyer can always argue against guilt; but there are cases where the individual is guilty per all sides/evidence. People on death row by shoddy science are not included in my statement) – then do the right thing! Narc them out first!! And if you want to play this game of "it's an approved medication – do no harm," then fine; use a Scehdule I opioid, which has NO ACCEPTED MEDICAL USE – despite rapidly increasing in availability throughout society (benzimidazole opioids?) – and administer a massive overdose! A subsequent gaseous asphyxiant could be supplied. However (and far more kindly), allow the treatment to cure the disease via it's inducement of respiratory depression. An individual under massive opioid overdose knows nothing. Those suggesting differently are simply describing the upswing after beind saved/rescucitated. The individual without someone to step in simply slides into darkness – or in this case, Hell (or maybe even Heaven)… But probably just back into the engine of matter.
What happened to us? We've gone so far backwards that we have people arguing about the shape of the Earth.
Here's a quick bit of info to bring people up to speed on things. At sea level, the air that we breathe is about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and trace amounts of other gases contribute to the final 1%.
As for alleged suffering during suffocation, please understand this. When we try to hold our breath, the discomfort we feel isn't due to lack of oxygen or a surplus of nitrogen. It's due to a buildup of carbon dioxide.
If you've ever taken a trip to a place located at a higher elevation, such as Denver, Colorado, did you feel discomfort as though holding your breath, or just kind of winded and weak, instead? Well, there you go, a mild sample of what happens when oxygen is replaced by nitrogen.
We evolved to try to keep CO2 levels low by breathing it out; our ancestors who were unsuccessful at this were removed from the gene pool.
So, inmates who are deprived of oxygen but are not exposed to excessive levels of carbon dioxide (since they can exhale that just fine, and replace it with more nitrogen), won't feel the discomfort of holding their breath, but instead will just go unconscious and die. And that's a far better fate than what their victims endured!
