Well. When I was a kid, there was a high school class called Drivers Ed. Now, parents have to keep a log of driving outings under a bunch of conditions. It's a pain for kids and parents.

Subscription is the same as renting.
We reached our out of pocket maximum on medical bills in 2023. Yet service providers still sent us bills saying we owed money.
I call my insurance and am assured we owe nothing, that all allowable charges have been paid. These billing companies for medical providers that send out bills after they know, or should know, all allowable charges have been paid seem to be committing fraud.
The problem is, worst case, they have to act like it was a mistake. Best case, they collect lots of extra payments when nothing is owed. So with no real consequences, why wouldn't greedy companies try to collect extra money from lazy or confused patients?
I spent over 2 hours trying to get 3 bills straightened out. This is ridiculous. My hourly billing rate exceeded the money amount they were trying to collect.
These billing companies and providers should be charged with fraud and a savvy attorney should turn this practice into a class action lawsuits for all the people that get duped by them or have to spend hours straightening out their billing.
