The one thing that annoys me about the awards season is how they make it all political.

That's BS. Ian McKellen was an openly gay actor who was nominated for portraying the openly gay James Whale in Gods and Monsters in 1999. It's always disappointing when pundits spread misinformation.
I miss the old movies from a couple of years ago. Back then I could count on any movie to lecture the guy next to me about his privilege or lecture the boomer about who should be allowed in women's sports. Now, the movies are nothing, they don't "hammer the message" like they did on the good old days.
Watching millionaires get trophies is boring.
Hope a documentary can be as popular as Barbie and Oppenheimer
