We're expected to pay and file our taxes on time, yet the administration has no problems sending their goons to collect if you're late or haven't done your filing. They have time to go after the taxpayer but have a problem getting your paperwork processed when you do everything on time. It's funny how that works.

I love how if we citizens are late filing our taxes we get fined, but if the IRS is late processing our taxes and getting us returns there is no penalty
If your refund is late then contact your state congressional representative’s office and request a congressional inquiry into your refund status. I had to do that and it worked. I filled out a small form at my congressman’s office and I believe I had to provide them with a copy of my tax return. The IRS must answer a congressional inquiry, by law.
