All these Republicans have been screaming about Parental Rights. How about some Parental Responsibility. Sure social media sites could do better. But it's ultimately up to the parents to take care of their children.
If you want to hear tech CEOs talk, this hearing isn’t for you.

It's funny that all irresponsible parents should be embarrassed themselves in front of the internet and news when how bad themselves instead of seeing him.

You can't force the media it needs to be a "playground for children." Or it needs to be down. Because it's bad for kids. No wonder why Parents are bad themselves. They should embarrass themselves for being irresponsible and not looking after their kids. They should be irresponsible in letting children outside and blaming other people. They should be ashamed and careless themselves for not protecting when it's already too late.
American parents should be embarrassed about how irresponsible they are. At least embarrassing in front of the news and the internet.
Tbh, YouTube should be involved in the mess as well. Because there are so many criminals and worse creators who brainwashed minors. And always the system silences creators or terminates itself. I hope YouTube has so many excuses. Even if it's not Instagram's fault.

Children taking their lives over their experiences on social media needs to be taken very seriously. I see a ton of blame falling on the parents as if the parents weren't doing to prevent their child's issues, that's not okay. I'm sure all the parents present did everything they could. They didn't know the extent of the mental health illnesses their children were experiencing, it's so hard to catch the psychological damage that is being done to children on social media these days. Social media seems innocuous, but the damage it can leave on fragile psyches has to be considered and studied much more rigorously.
The government allowed this to take place because there's money to be made,now there blaming the tech company
Ok one last comment why they don't go to court and discuss what happen to Hawaii Maui kids and stop trafficking kids, they should look more into that and are they going to stop making migrant kids work on dangerous jobs that they have died in the job, and the reason they letting migrants pass borders, I heard from India news they all going to vote for Biden thats why they been allow to cross by, because they know almost all people in usa is voting for Trump. Social media companies are major political lobbyists. This hearing is just for show. Congress will do absolutely nothing to bite the hand that feeds it.
This is all part of social media Catagion. Which is also part of media Catagion Theory. Both the mass media and social media are the biggest contributors to suicides/mass shootings and negative behavior on a societal scale since it's inception.

My son spends 2 hours in meta quest and I never hear kids offending other kids i hear them talking laughing playing together and been a teamwork, my question is what game in meta was were they were those kids playing.
