For the first time, the mother of Oxford High School mass shooter Ethan Crumbley spoke on her own behalf Thursday, taking the stand in her historic criminal trial, telling jurors that she never believed her son was a threat to others nor saw any signs that he needed mental health treatment. She also addressed one of the key allegations in this case: that she refused to bring her son home from school after being summoned over a violent drawing he had made.

The state/prosecution is despicable beyond comparison! To try to convict a mother and father for what their now-confirmed, adult son who took the responsibility for his vile actions, and to play on the shock and awe, emotions of the jury to get the show trial they had been denied by ethans guilty plea…. that's beyond disgusting its pathetic and downright unethical.
If these parents are convicted and these school "officials" aren't and Michigan folks let it slide, well, it's a sad day for you.

Defense's closing was crazy!! If she'd been a better attorney and had more courtroom etiquette, she wouldn't have to spend half of her closing time defending HERSELF from tiktoks and acknowledging how unlikeable she is! So the jury either comes back hung or guilty and then JC has ground for retrial because of her incompetent defense…mark my words.
I think they are liable, but again, I fear that in this “precedent setting case” they’ll get off.

Maybe all the media, gaming companies, Hollywood should bear some of the responsibility here as well. They make billions off us through the violence in movies and video games.
